- Our Work
At BTI Studios we are experts in providing audio description and subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing (SDH). With over 20 years' experience in access services, we know all of the specifications and deliverables and are a BFI-approved supplier of disability access materials for BFI funded releases.
We also have a long relationship with Disney Pictures and have provided SDH and AD for many of their releases over the years including Frozen, Beauty and the Beast 3D and Warhorse.
Speaking of award-winning films, we have subtitled and described many entrants and winners of film festivals, the most recent example being Ken Loach's Jimmy's Hall. You can see the trailer below with audio description and with subtitles for the deaf.
We're aware of the amount of love and care that goes into the production of a feature film - it's a work of art, and we believe the subtitles and audio description should reflect this. You want your film to be perfect in every way and we understand that. This is why we have an approval process for subtitling and audio description where you can review the subtitles and the audio descriptive script before the final rendering and recording.
With so many platforms now available for release we understand it's likely you will be producing a few different versions of your film. As well as providing subtitles and AD for your cinematic debut, we can also reversion the subtitles and audio description for release on VOD, DVD, BD and TV.
With our 21 local offices in Europe and America, we are able to localize your film into the language of your choice, enabling you to show your feature to audiences worldwide. Our experienced localisation teams ensure we create localized versions that are faithful to the original, whether you choose subtitling or dubbing.
