We are currently looking for a delivery coordinator to join our team in London. This role is the final link in the production chain, assuring the timely and accurate delivery of multilingual subtitling projects. It consists of performing detailed quality control procedures to ensure our files meet the exacting technical standards of our VOD & DVD clients. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of film and television material. Training will be provided, but a clear understanding of what makes good subtitling is essential, and knowledge of subtitling software would be an advantage.
This is an international business, and you will be liaising with translators and project managers around the world; good communication skills in English are vital. Knowledge of other languages would also be advantageous, especially but not exclusively Arabic, German, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian. However, please note this is not principally a linguistic role. Above all we are looking for someone able to focus on minutiae, and who is flexible, organised and efficient under pressure. The ideal candidate should be quick to learn and assimilate new tasks and processes, and not deterred by repetitive screen work.

The Client Services Co-ordinator is responsible for supporting the Director of Client Services and Dubbing Operations (OTT) and growing business with their clients.
- Provide support for dubbing operations and on occasion directly to the client as required and directed.
-Deliver an excellent level of service, which meets and exceeds our contractual SLAs and KPIs.
- Coordinate the workflow, ensuring adherence to processes, deadlines, templates and formats by all internal and external stakeholders.
- Address receivable issues to ensure the commencement of the production lifecycle.
- Ensure that all relevant assets are delivered in a timely manner to internal and external stakeholders in accordance with our Service Agreement.
- Ensure rapid response to enquiries and requests, and maintain communication about monthly initiatives to internal (Production team) and external stakeholders (vendors).
- Maintain and update the BTI Studios asset management system and archives.
- Provide support to ensure the timely and successful delivery of the client’s requirements within the terms of our Service Agreement.
- Be accountable for accurate billing in accordance with the terms of our Service Agreement and as directed by the line manager.
- Perform other special projects or duties when required.

We are looking to expand our multilingual in-house subtitling team in Chiswick, West London. The job consists of translating TV and video material, mainly from English sources, and may also include the creation of same-language subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing and audio description for people with sight loss. We are currently recruiting linguists specialised in: Danish, Norwegian or Swedish. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of different types of programmes for a range of local and international clients in a fun and creative atmosphere, with colleagues from many other nationalities.
To create accurate, broadcast-quality subtitles from a pre-recorded video source, adhering to in-house style as directed during training period.
To edit text to established reading speeds, retaining the content and flavour of the source material, whilst ensuring that subtitles stay synchronised with the soundtrack and allow adequate access to picture and graphics.
To carry out all necessary research, maintaining the factual and grammatical accuracy of subtitle content.
To check, recut and re-edit existing files in line with client/format specifications.
To work effectively to deadlines, co-ordinating subtitle preparation with other team members as required.

We are looking for a production assistant to join our Warsaw team, assuring the timely and accurate delivery of international subtitling projects. The key focus for this role is checking and editing subtitle files in various languages to comply with technical specifications. The ideal candidate must have excellent attention to detail, in order to ensure the subtitles our clients broadcast on media platforms around the world meet our exacting standards.
You will be working in a dynamic, international business; good communication skills in English are essential. Knowledge of other European languages would also be advantageous, especially Swedish, Danish, Norwegian or Finnish, but this is not a requirement – this is not a linguistic proofreading role. Above all we are looking for someone focused, adaptable and organised, who functions well under time pressure and will not be deterred by repetitive screen work.
You will have the opportunity to work with subtitles for a variety of film, television and video material. Relevant experience would be an advantage, but it is more important to be quick to learn and assimilate new tasks, software and processes. Training will be provided.

BTI Studios are currently looking to increase our pool of resources for French language subtitling for a variety of film, television and other video material.
Experienced or trainee in-house subtitlers are required for our office in Chiswick, West London. The role will involve translating audiovisual material into French for major international broadcasters and VoD providers.
Full training in subtitling will be provided.

söker flera översättare för regelbundna frilansuppdrag.
Uppdragen gäller i första hand översättning från engelska till svenska, men vi ser gärna att några av våra nya översättare även kan översätta från ett eller flera av de nordiska språken. Andra språk är också meriterande.
Samtliga översättare som börjar arbeta för BTI Studios får genomgå en kurs i undertextning i företagets regi. Kursen, som är individuellt upplagd och pågår i två till tre veckor. Kursstarten är planerad till början av februari.
Översättning för film och tv ställer höga krav på såväl noggrannhet som snabbhet, och det är givetvis viktigt att undertextaren har goda förutsättningar för yrket. Goda kunskaper i engelska är ett krav, vilket exempelvis universitetsstudier, långa utlandsvistelser eller tvåspråkighet hemifrån kan ge. Vi lägger även stor vikt vid hanteringen av vårt modersmål, och ser universitetsstudier i svenska som ett plus.
De sökande som bedöms vara mest intressanta kommer att få skriva ett prov i engelska och svenska, och i det eller de andra språk som är aktuella.

BTI Studios is looking for experienced German freelance subtitlers to meet the demands of our ever-expanding business. As one of the world’s largest media localisation companies we provide translation, subtitling, dubbing and audio description services to international broadcasters and distributors.
The role will involve translating audiovisual material into German for major international broadcasters. We are looking for language and translation graduates, or people with a background in translation, with fluent English who have German as their first language. Proofreading or translation experience is essential, as are an eye for detail and good time management.
